Microsoft buys stake in Facebook

Facebook yesterday sold a 1.6 percent stake to Microsoft for $240 million. The deal values the social networking start-up at $15 billion! Who said that you can't have the cake and eat it - almost - all?

Today I brought Herbie to the garage for a fall tune-up and also installed an ePlate. It's really cool. Instead of having a "static" sticker on your car, this nice car accessory enables you to display 5 different scrolling ads (each ad may contain up to 400 characters).

AHEPA Canada has teamed up with the Hellenic Studies Media Group of Simon Fraser University (SFU) to offer free lessons through the Odysseas Online Greek Language Tutor. Courses begin October 15.
