The last time I took an exam was over 12 years ago (!) so I was a little bit nervous. Also, this was my first online exam! I had to answer 111 questions within 90 minutes and achieve a minimum score of 75% in order to pass. My result: 86.5% (96/111). Not bad... although I know I could have scored a bit higher. It doesn't matter... what *does* matter is to effectively use this new GAP status as a selling point and further expand my search engine marketing client base via 3comMedia.
Note: Within the next couple of days I will be able to set up the links from GoogleAdsPro.com (I had registered the domain a while ago; do you like the rollover?), 3comMedia, Inc., and of course, this blog, to my Google Advertising Professional page (on Google).
Update: Here's the link from Google AdWords confirming that Maki Papadopoulos is a Qualified Google Advertising Professional.
Google Advertising Professional
As of last Friday (June 22, 2007) I'm officially a Qualified Google Advertising Professional (GAP). Although it's been almost 4 years since I launched the first AdWords campaign for one of my clients, only recently I decided to take the exam in order attain this recognition.
